1. Privacy Policy
1.1 References to “we”, “our”, “us” and “SheStores” means SheStores Pty Ltd (ACN 676 286 623) and its officers, employees and agents.
1.2 SheStores is committed to respecting and protecting your privacy. We comply with the Privacy Act 1988 (Cth) and the Australian Privacy Principles as set out in the Privacy Act.
1.3 This Privacy Policy sets out the basis on which any personal information we collect from you, or that you provide to us, will be managed by us.
1.4 Please read this Privacy Policy carefully. When you provide personal information to us you will be deemed to have read and understood this Privacy Policy.
2. Collection of Personal Information
2.1 We may collect personal information about you as required in order to provide services to you, including contact information, correspondence between us and details enabling us to obtain payment for our services. Payments are made through our payment provider, Stripe, by direct debit from your bank account or by credit or debit card. You enter your bank account or card details directly with Stripe, and SheStores does not collect or store your bank account or card details.
2.2 You acknowledge that the personal information which we collect is reasonably necessary for us to provide our services to you and that failure to provide complete and accurate information may prevent SheStores from providing our services to you.
2.3 You acknowledge that we may collect personal information about you from other organisations for the purpose of providing our services to you. All such personal information will be managed in accordance with the Privacy Act and this Privacy Policy.
2.4 When you use our website, we collect the information you enter into our enquiry, booking and account forms and our chat assistant, such as your name, business details, contact details and storage requirements.
2.5 Our website also records how you found us, such as the referring website, the page you first landed on and any advertising campaign tags or click identifiers in the link you followed. This is stored in your browser for 30 days and sent to us with any form you submit, so we know which of our advertising is working. We do not use third-party analytics or advertising cookies on our website. You can clear this information at any time by clearing your browser’s site data.
3. Holding of Personal Information
3.1 We hold personal information physically in our office and storage locations, and electronically on our computers and servers securely backed up.
3.2 Unfortunately, the transmission of information via the internet is not completely secure. Although we will take all reasonable steps to protect your personal information, we cannot guarantee the security of your personal information transmitted to us electronically and any transmission is at your own risk.
3.3 Upon receiving your personal information we will take all reasonable steps to ensure that it is secure from any unauthorised access, misuse or disclosure. However we do not guarantee that personal information cannot be accessed by an unauthorised person or that unauthorised disclosure will not occur.
3.4 Your bank account and card details are held by Stripe, not by SheStores. We keep records of your account, invoices, payments and direct debit authority for as long as reasonably necessary to provide our services and to meet our legal, tax and accounting record-keeping obligations. After that, physical records will be securely destroyed and electronic records deleted.
